  3.                      -- IMPORTANT NOTICE --

  5. This program requires the file VBRUN300.DLL in your \windows\system
  6. directory.  This file is probably available from the same place
  7. that you found this program.  In fact, since many programs require
  8. this file, you may already have it.
  9.  
  10.                  -- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS --
  11.  
  12. Method 1 (Easy Method) - Place all the files in the NAPSOL1.ZIP 
  13. in the same directory.  The name of the directory does not matter.
  14.  
  15. Method 2 (Harder Method) - Place the files NAPSOL.EXE,
  16. NAPSOL.HLP, FILE_ID.DIZ, README.1ST, and VENDOR.DOC in the same
  17. directory.  The file QCARD.DLL can go in the same directory with
  18. the other files or in the \Windows directory.  The file CMDIALOG.VBX
  19. can go in the same directory with the other files or in the
  20. \Windows\System directory  (You may already have a copy of this
  21. file.  If you have a newer version already in your \Windows\System
  22. directory, don't replace it with the version in this package).  The 
  23. advantage to this method is that you can save hard drive space if you
  24. have other programs that use CMDIALOG.VBX or QCARD.DLL.

  26.                      -- RUNNING THE PROGRAM --
  27.  
  28. To run the games, run the file NAPSOL.EXE.
  29.  
  30.                     -- IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM --
  31.  
  32. If the program doesn't run, most likely there is a DLL conflict with 
  33. the file QCARD.DLL.  Napoleon Solitaire requires the version of 
  34. QCARD.DLL dated 2/15/94.  There are other programs that use a different
  35. version of this DLL.  If another version of QCARD.DLL exists in your
  36. /Windows directory, this can cause Napoleon Solitaire not to run.

  39.                         -- HOW TO REGISTER --

  41. This program is shareware.  Continued use of Napoleon Solitaire 
  42. beyond a 30-day evaluation period requires registration.  Registration
  43. will bring you instructions on how to get rid of the registration
  44. reminder screens and other benefits (see the help file). To register,
